Writing Retreat to Rocky Mountain House

My family and friends were lucky enough to go on a mid-week retreat to a fantabulous cabin just outside of Rocky Mountain House. My plan for this retreat was to WRITE and I’m happy to report I managed to revise a few chapters of Book 3.

The setting was ideal for writing. Loads of gorgeous clouds, quite a bit of rain, and sweater weather. For the most part, I was curled up on a chair with my laptop, but we did manage to see a few sights while the sun was out.

Cow Lake is fast becoming one of my favourite places. The water is warm, the scenery is beautiful, and the ice cream keeps us coming back for more.

We also really enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, and the kids had loads of fun roasting giant marshmallows.

When the time came to go home, we made a stop at Eagle Creek Farms for their sunflower maze. This was such a fun experience, despite being soaked in a cloud burst. I really want to go back next summer.

I hope you enjoy the photos!!

Thanks for stopping by.
