We went to the mountains. I mean, this was obviously one of the first things we did while my in-laws visited. Have you seen the Rockies? I want to live there. 🙂

We explored Banff and Bow Falls this time, so expect to be bombarded with images of nature that will pull at your heartstrings. There’s honestly nowhere in the mountains that isn’t picturesque and just generally glorious.

Canada, folks, is fabulously beautiful.

I could sit here and rave about it, but I have a sequel to write and photos to show you.

Have you seen the reviews of A Study of Ash & Smoke, BTW? I’m absolutely blown away by the feedback my book baby has been getting. Five years of work and a genius editor has really been paying off.

Like I said above somewhere, I’m working hard on the sequel. As I am now, I’m running on inspiration. Who has time for sleep when you can haz all the ideas? I’m a bit jittery, but oh, so excited. 🙂 Watch this space.

Some days are sad, but we’re soldiering on (and, to be honest, hurling myself at work is still my favourite coping mechanism). I really appreciate every message, call, and virtual hug.
