I’m typing this as the snow is falling and slowly piling up outside. Just thought I’d put that out there, since our friends and family in Europe and the UK have been spamming us with wonderful imagery of snow, and we’ve been feeling left out here in Toronto. Ironically, everybody was expecting us to spam them with snow photos, but the wait is over. These pics will be incoming soon.
Now that I have that off my chest (I had something to prove, OK?) let’s focus on today’s post. We headed Downtown with the parentals this weekend for some touristy stuff.
The CN tower was first on our list, and can I just say the views were epic. Being up there made me feel tiny and awed.
From there, we headed to the aquarium next door, which was just as wonderful. South Africa’s uShaka Marine World is the only other aquarium we’ve visited that comes close, though I do believe Ripley’s Aquarium is bigger (of course, uShaka has loads of water rides that Ripley’s doesn’t). And, if you know my kid, she was pretty much out of her skin with excitement the whole time. Her one complaint was that we didn’t get to see an octopus, but the aquarium was pretty busy, so we couldn’t get to all of the exhibits.
But OK, you don’t want to read anymore, you just want photos. 🙂
That’s it from me for the day. Thanks for stopping by! Hope your Monday has been kind.
