Hi there, folks!

I’m back from an unplanned break. Unplanned because I hyperfixated so hard on planning (yes, planning!!) my new novel that I ran out of scheduled posts, but also because someone adorable pounced into our home.

Echo is a Double Doodle—her mom is a Labradoodle and her dad an Aussiedoodle. At the time of writing this post, she’s 10 weeks old and has ALL THE ENERGY. She also has a really sweet disposition and is just a generally happy girl.

That said, bringing home a puppy is like having a toddler in the house again. 🤣

After about a week and a half of keeping me up all through the night, I’m so relieved that she’s now letting me sleep until around 6AM. Additionally, she’s been exceptional regarding house training. We’re super grateful not to be trudging through indoor potty accidents.

After so many pet-free years, our home finally feels complete!
