Photo Diary – Royal Tyrell Museum

Photo Diary – Royal Tyrell Museum

Drumheller and the surrounding areas have been on our bucket list forever, and we finally visited in early November. Of course, we soon learned there’s just too much to explore in a single day and we’ll have to return.

My dino-nerd daughter would have it no other way.

Our first stop was The Royal Tyrell Museum. As one of the world’s largest displays of dinosaur remains and the only dinosaur museum in Canada, this is a must for any palaeontology enthusiast.

My kid was three when she first started saying she wanted to be a palaeontologist. This trip just proved her absolute love of all things dino. She spent ages looking at and talking about everything we saw in the museum, and her immediate wish was to go back next year for her birthday.

Here are some of the pictures.

Join me again next week for some of our photos of the Drumheller Hoodoos.
