One of my lifelong goals has been to illustrate colouring books, but it’s the kind of thing we dream about but put off because life’s too busy. Then, in the heart of lockdown, I actually did it. I illustrated a faux stained glass colouring book featuring different birds.
I was ecstatic. Goal completed. But then I ran into some problems with the print and trim (some of the designs cut off where they weren’t supposed to), so I promptly unpublished the book and put it aside for later.
Which, of course, turned into a year, then three.
I’m really excited to announce the colouring book is back!
I illustrated unique frames for all of the artworks, effectively sorting out the issues that moved me to unpublish the book in the first place. I also added two new designs, bringing the total up to 20 unique, human-illustrated designs. No AI-generated art here, folks. I also added a bonus mandala at the end.
Here are the specs:
- Fly Free—Stained Glass Coloring Book available on Amazon.
- 8.5 x 0.11 x 11 inches
- Gloss cover finish
- 20 original illustrations and a bonus mandala
- Single-sided pages
- Suitable for all ages, and a great gift!
- Retail price: USD 12,99

Because of the unique frames, each design now looks like a stained glass window pane, which can be cut out of the book and hung on your wall, if you so choose.
I’d be super grateful if you could check out my little colouring book and leave a review if you enjoy it! 🙂
Until next time.
